How can I pair two ISBW240s to each other?
Party Plus Mode:
If you have another ISBW240 speakers, you can pair and play only two speakers together for a surround sound effect or have two speakers playing in different rooms.
Note: The speakers must be same model number and VID number to be paired together, no more than two speakers can be paired together.
To enter Party Plus Mode, power on both speakers and make sure both units are in Bluetooth mode.
Press and hold the M button on both of the units, and the speakers will attempt to pair to each other.
When the two speakers are paired together, a voice will announce the connection. The LED indicator light will display solid blue light on one of the units. This will be the primary unit.
Connect Bluetooth device to the speakers using the steps from the “Pairing and Playing Bluetooth Audio” section below.
Use your device to select and play tracks. The audio will now be heard through both speakers.
The primary unit will control both speakers when connected. To disconnect the speakers, press the M button on the primary unit.
Note: To use Party Plus Mode, please make sure that you connect the speakers before pairing to your Bluetooth device. You will not be able to connect the speakers if you are already paired to a Bluetooth device.
I am still unable to pair both speakers together, what can I do?
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and click on “Forget This Device” and ensure no device is connected to either of the speakers.
Power on both speakers and make sure both units are in Bluetooth mode.
Hold on to the “M” button on both of the speakers until you hear a chime followed by a voice prompt “speakers are connected”.
Once you hear “speakers are connected”, you can go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and pair
If you want to use one of the speakers independently, press and hold the M button on the speaker you want to use to disconnect the two speakers.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker and the speaker will then enter into pairing mode. You can now connect to the speaker manually.
Note: The speakers will auto connect again with Party Plus Mode if speakers have not been used individually. If you decide to turn one speaker off (not the main speaker that Party Plus Mode was initiated) and turn it back on it will auto connect to the other speaker because of Party Plus Mode.
What do I do If you want to connect the speakers together again?
Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings menu and select all ISBW240s. Select “forget this device” and follow the Party Plus Mode connection procedure listed in the user manual.
