If you are hearing voice prompts from the Sound Bar please Press and Hold Mute on the Sound Bar Remote for 5 seconds to turn off and then Hold Mute for 5 Seconds to turn on.
Optical Input
What if i have connected a Digital Optical Audio Cable and do not have sound?
When connecting the Digital Audio Cable to the optical output on the audio source and to the Optical Input on the Sound Bar.
Check the following:
Make sure the Sound Bar is powered on using the remote or pressing the Power button on the Sound Bar.
Check the Audio Source the Sound Bar is connected to and make sure the audio Settings are set to PCM/Optical Audio.
*The Optical output is set to PCM and not Dolby Digital
