How do I pair the sound system with my Bluetooth device?
- Power on the system. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode the first time it is turned on.
- Keep your Bluetooth device within 3 feet of the system.
- Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select IHTB159.
- When connected, you'll hear the voice prompt "Bluetooth is connected."
What is the Bluetooth range?
The Bluetooth wireless range is up to 60 feet (18 meters) under ideal conditions. Walls, furniture, and other wireless devices may reduce the effective range.
My device won't reconnect via Bluetooth. What should I do?
Press and hold the Pair button to place the system back into pairing mode. The blue indicator will flash rapidly, and you'll hear a voice prompt indicating the system is ready to connect. Then reconnect from your Bluetooth device's settings.
Does the system automatically reconnect to my phone?
Yes. Once paired, the system automatically reconnects to the last paired Bluetooth device whenever Bluetooth mode is selected, provided the device is available.
How do I connect the system to my TV using HDMI?
Use an HDMI cable to connect your TV's HDMI-ARC port to the HDMI input on the subwoofer. Then select HDMI Mode using the Source button or the remote.
Note: Your TV must support HDMI-ARC. A standard HDMI port without ARC will not provide audio.
Can I connect using an optical cable?
Yes. Connect the included optical cable between your TV or media player's optical output and the subwoofer's optical input, then switch the system to Optical Mode.
My optical connection isn't producing sound. What should I check?
Verify that:
- The source device is set to output PCM or Optical Audio (not Dolby Digital).
- The optical cable is fully inserted on both ends.
- The source device's optical output is enabled.
Can I control the sound system with my TV remote?
Yes. The built-in Learn Feature allows the system to learn many infrared (IR) commands from your TV remote, including Power, Volume, and Mute.
How do I program my TV remote?
- Turn the system off.
- Press the Play/Pause/Pair/Learn button on the sound system.
- Press the desired button on the included remote.
- Press the matching button on your TV remote.
- Repeat for each function you want to program.
Can every remote function be learned?
No. The Learn Feature supports many infrared (IR) remotes, but not all protocols are compatible. Some functions, such as bass and treble controls, must still be adjusted using the included remote.

Can I mount the soundbar on a wall?
Yes. Wall mounting hardware and instructions are included. Attach the mounting brackets to the rear of the soundbar before installing it on the wall.
Why aren't all of my speakers working?
Make sure each satellite speaker is connected to the matching labeled output on the back of the subwoofer. Incorrect connections may prevent the speakers from functioning properly.
What batteries does the remote use?
The remote uses 2 AAA batteries, which are included with the system.
