Yes, you can use Bluetooth or Aux in to connect your smart phone to the speaker.
Can I play music via USB port?
USB Media Port: Play media from a USB drive.
USB port is for USB drives only.
Load a USB drive into the USB Media port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB Mode, indicated by a voice prompt. You can also press the Source button to switch to USB Mode manually.
Use the controls on the speaker to select and play audio from the connected drive.
Does the Speaker include Aux Cable and Microphone?
The Bluetooth Tailgate Speaker does not include an Aux Audio Cable, microphone, or Power adapter.
