How do I pair my device to this speaker system?

Press the power button to power on the unit
Using the Source button select Bluetooth. "BT will be displayed
Press and hold the Pair button until the indicator light blinks quickly
Using the controls on your wireless device search and select "IBC233" in the discovered device menu
If prompted for a password, the default code is "0000"
When successfully paired the pair indicator light will illuminate solid blue

I cannot hear any volume when using Bluetooth? What is wrong?

Are you using Bluetooth? Make sure you have pressed play for music on the paired device and adjust volume on both the IBB313 and paired device

How long will the 6 C-size batteries last on the IBC233?

That depends on the volume of music, and if Bluetooth is used. However, generally 8 hours is the expected amount of play life.
