I had originally bought this surround sound from a retailer but it had four additional speakers. We wanted to have less wires so I ended up buying this one directly from them. The sound quality is amazing! It's very loud. Crisp and affordable. It's def a great surround sound bar for the price. I recommend getting one instead of spending like $200 somewhere else. We are ehaoou with the sound quality it brings.
I purchased the unit to replace a older one that the CD player quit on. Everything on this unit seems to work but the reception for the radio is absolutely terrible. The only station it can pick up is a strong station with the tower within actual sight of the radio. The station it barely receives can be picked up by most any other radio as far away as 50 miles. The unit is in the exact same place as the old one that gets 15 plus stations and in stereo, but not this one. Repositioned all over and no improved results. Disappointed. Is it my unit or the product?
When I am using an aux cord the sound is great. Overall I love it. The one thing holding me back from an all 5star review is the Bluetooth. When I connect a device to it via Bluetooth the sound tanks on it, much lower than with an aux cord. I have tried turning everything up to Max volume my phone, and the speaker, but the sound is very low still. Any suggestions on what I can do? If it is solved then this product is a 5 star!
I just hooked up an iLive 32" sound bar and new Magnavox 32" HDTV for my Mom (Christmas present). The remote for the soundbar changes the TV channels. She has Comcast and the TV and iLive are connected to the cable box. Very frustrating that to raise / lower the sound, turn the power on/off or select sound type (Music / Movie / Dialog) the channel on her TV changes. Sound quality is good but the remote is all but useless. Also, I first tried the Optical connection to the cable box with the supplied cable and got no sound. Had to use the Stereo connections. The sound quality is good for what my Mom wants / needs but very frustrated the remote is useless.
I received the under counter as a Christmas gift. I installed it and have been trying to set it up. I have tried using the remote and the buttons on the unit and so far I cannot set the minutes on the time or connect the Bluetooth. The time will let me set the hour but when I hold the button down again the hour does not stop blinking nor does the minutes start blinking. I try to pair it with the Bluetooth on my phone and when you hold down the pairing button on the remote or the unit nothing happens. I was so excited when I got this, Please help!
We had this less then 2 months when it just lost power. I had to try to contact customer service, which proved difficult. I then had to pay $25 to return it and wait for their customer service to contact me about replacing it. I am willing to give it a 2nd try, could've been a fluke...we'll see.
Hopefully this replacement is better then the first and lasts longer too.
When on and a song is all the way up it sounds really goof and I'm very pleased with the sound but when the song is paused or when i turn the volume down on the speakers there's a weird ring that is very audible. Was wondering if that's normal or if it is a defect. Would give 5 stars on everything if this problem can be fixed.
Sound is nice, easy set up, but one of the speaker's light did not work. Gave it to son for early present and he had it up and running quickly. I went up to check it out and the one speaker has sound but no light. I switched speakers in the back and it is just that speaker. I had him call customer service (trying to teach a 14 year old responsibility) and they told me they would send an email and we were to call back once we receive it, still nothing. Do not feel like driving 30 minutes to exchange at the store purchased.
